Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday urged the people to come together for a "drugs-free India." He asked social-media users to spread awareness of drug abuse on various platforms.

Ahead of the International Day of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, the Chief Minister urges the people of Assam to create awareness on drug abuse among the younger generation.

Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister posted a video message to address the issue better.
