AssamMinister and AGP leader Keshab Mahanta's convoy met with an accident onThursday at around 12:30 PM near Demow area under Nagaon district.

Theincident took place, when a vehicle of the convoy collided with a Bolero pik-upvan over the NH-37. According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the vehicle (AS-02-U-9208)lost control and rammed into the Pik-up van, which was parked near the highway. The accident occurred when the Minister was heading towards Bokakhat.

Luckily,no one sustained any injuries during the incident.
