‘Kisaan Rails’ To Run Via Lumding From June 17

On Sunday, the Lumding Railways announced the launch of two special farmer trains. These 2 trains have been introduced for the advantage of the farmers and to ease transportation facilities for them.

These 'Kisaan Rails' will run from Lumding Railway with the co-operation from Tripura (Agartala) Government.

As per reports, the Agartala-Delhi Rail No. 00591 will run from June 11 and the Agartala-Kolkata Rail No.00590 will run from 16th June.

According to the Superintendent of Lumding Regional Railways, the trains will run on a weekly basis from July 7 and July 9.

Additionally, farmers can avail upto 50% discount on bookings, he added.
