Demanding the immediate release and facilitation of better medical care of coronavirus positive peasant leader Akhil Gogoi and his associates Dharjya Konwar and Bitu Sonowal, KMSS and other pressure groups have been protesting extensively across the state

Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti demonstrated a protest in Merapani which is also the birthplace of the organisation. Students, Women, Farmers and Dayang Mukti Sangram Samiti participated in the protest.

Meanwhile, a semi-naked protest was carried out on Digboi's Balijan area on the Digboi- Duliajan road by the local pressure groups as well.
