Kokrajhar ADCs Test COVID-19+

Assistant district commissioners (ADC) of Kokrajhar district have been tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday evening.

ADC Debeshwar Bora and Bhaskar Das were detected with COVID-19 after the results of Rapid Antigen test were published positive.

Kokrajahar deputy commissioner Bhaskar Phukan announced the office of the deputy commissioner has been declared a containment zone up to August 22.

Meanwhile, 34 new COVID19 positive cases were reported today in the district pushing the total number of COVID-19 positive cases to 1141 while 39 were discharged taking the total recoveries of the district to 845. Presently, there are active case 256. Six people have died of COVID-19 infection in the district.
