Kokrajhar: Huge Cache of Arms, Ammunition Recovered

A joint team of police and army have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition including explosives, grenades, and AK-56 rifles from Kokrajhar on Monday ahead of Independence Day.

Kokrajhar SP Rakesh Roshan said that acting on a specific input a joint operation was launched by police and army in Tulsibil area in Kokrajhar.

The following equipments have been recovered by the joint operation team- 2 AK rifles, 3 magazines, 2 HE 36 grenades, 2 detonators, and 211 rounds ammunition.

During the operation, the arms and ammunition were recovered hidden beneath the ground.
