Last Rites Of Tarun Gogoi Likely To Be Held At Manabendra Sarma Complex

Assam Pradesh Congress President Ripun Bora announced on Tuesday evening that former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's last rites is likely to be held at Manabendra Sarma Complex in Dispur on November 26.

Reportedly, a final decision will be taken after the arrival of Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who is likely to arrive on November 25.

Presently, the mortal remains of the veteran Congress leader is kept at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra.

Earlier today, Mr. Gogoi's body was taken to his official residence, the state secretariat Janata Bhawan, and the Assam Congress headquarters Rajiv Bhawan.
