Maligaon hit and run case accused surrenders

The accused of Maligaon hit-and-run case Abhinash Sharma son of retired high court judge has surrendered on Sunday night at Jalukbari Police Outpost.

Earlier, local public demanded justice for the hit and run case which took place on 14th August evening at Maligaon.

Massive protest demanding justice compelled local police and administration to present Abhinash Sharma in police custody, after which police sent a notice to the accused to present himself at Jalukbari police station.

The public alleged that the police did not take any action as the accused was the son of retired high court judge.

Later, Sharma surrendered himself at the Jalukbari police outpost on Sunday night.
