Man killed in ‘Tiger Attack’ in Dhekiajuli

A tea garden worker has died after he was attacked by a tiger at Dhekiajuli's Singori Tea Garden on Friday (November 30).

The deceased has been identified as Raju Jena (45).

After the incident took place, Jena was admitted to the Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH).

As per reports, Jena went to the tea garden to collect thatches and suddenly a tiger, which was skulking in the garden, attacked him.

As he raised an alarm, the tiger left her and went inside the forest.
