Man stabbed and thrown out of train in Diphu

In a sensational incident a man was stabbed and thrown out of a running train near Diphu Railway station on Wednesday. The incident occurred inside B G Express when the man named Safiruddin of Nagaon Samguri was stabbed with knife.

The passenger was seriously injured and was rushed to Diphu Civil Hospital.

It is alleged that the incident occurred after a heated argument between Safiruddin and two Government Railway Police ( GRP) officials. Police have taken the two GRP Pratap Barman and Ganesh Tati into Custody and have started an investigation.

Few months ago, in a span of 24 hours, bodies of two women were found murdered in toilets of running trains in separate incidents in Assam.
