The All Assam Bodo Students' Union (AABSU), NDFB (Progressive) and Peoples' Joint Action Committee have organized a mass rally at Chirang under the banner of 'Peace and Solution' demanding separate Bodoland state and to provide political rights to the people of the Bodo tribe.

President of NDFB (P), Govinda Basumatary said that there has not been any partition of the NDFB regarding the agitation against the formation of separate Bodoland but some miscreants are trying to make the division for their political rights.

He said that the division took place only once in 2008 but there hasbeen no division since then.

Moreover, General Secretary of AABSU Lorence Islary and President ofUPPL Urkhao Goura Brahma expressed anger as the issue of separate Bodoland hasnot been raised in the 4th NEDA Conclave held in Guwahati on Monday.

Reiterating about BTC Chief Hugrama Mohiliary's statement that Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will once again be elected as the CM of Assam in 2021, both the leaders said that Mohiliary had made the statement as they have political understanding. But they asked Mohiliary that the movement for separate Bodoland should be made a political agenda.
