Evenafter several marches and protests by various section of society calling for moreprotection of girl child as well as women, it has emerged that a minor wasallegedly raped and murdered under Dhekiajuli region.

Accordingto reports, body of the 7-year-old was recovered from Monjuli village underDhekiajuli last night. The locals recovered her body with several injury marks.They also suspected that some miscreants have raped her before stabbing her todeath.

It maybe mentioned here that the minor was missing since Wednesday night.

Meanwhile,police reached the spot instantly after the incident was reported and startedthe primary investigation. The locals demanded immediate arrests of theculprits involved in the incident.
