A minor child died of electrocution in Baithalongsho village of Karbi Anglong district on Saturday.

The deceased boy has been identified as Kaushik Gogoi.

Kaushik was electrocuted while trying to turn off an inverter switch inside his submerged house in the ongoing Baithalongsho deluge.
