In a tragic incident, one Jainul Abedin (40) lost his life at Roumari in Darrang after drowning in flood waters.

The flood waters hit the area reportedly after breaching the embankment.

Abdein, who went missing in the waters, was later found afloat on the river by the locals, who had him rescued.
