MLA Prasanta Phukan’s son flees after accident

The vehicle of senior BJP MLA Prasanta Phukan's son crashed into road-side shops in Silapathar on Saturday night. Following the accident, the Dibrugarh MLA's son, Samujjal Phukan along with his friends fled away from the spot.

According to eye-witnesses, the accident took place when the driver of a Hyundai Creta (AS-06-R-7444) lost control of his vehicle and hit the road-side shops. They also informed that the MLA son Samujjal Phukan was one of the travelers in the vehicle.

Meanwhile, police reached the spot in no time and started the investigation. Later it was found that the vehicle belonged to Samujjal Phukan.
