RangaparaBJP MLA Rajen Borthakur passed away on Tuesday night. He was suffering fromkidney ailment and was admitted to a private hospital in Tezpur for a few days.

Borthakurdied at around 10:29 pm, confirmed doctors.

He was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly from Rangapara in 2019 by-election.
