Mohammad Sanaullah Loses Police Job

Thearrest of retired Indian Army Official Mohammad Sanaullah has been dismissedfrom his duties in the Border Police on Saturday. The Kargilwar veteran was posted as an SI of the Border Police.

MohammadSanaullah, who joined the Indian Army as an official of Electronic andMechanical Engineering department in 1987, served till May 31, 2017. Later in2018, he joined the Border Police as a Sub-Inspector.

He had also received President's Medal in 2014. Sanaullah was apprehended on Wednesday and sent to a detention camp after Foreigners' Tribunal declared him a 'foreigner'.

It may be noted that Sanaullah came to know of him being tried for being a foreigner only when he went to inquire about his name missing from the 2018 NRC list.
