A priest cum principal of a Church maintained school of Nalbari was arrested yesterday on the charges of sexual abuse of staffs. According to the FIR filed in the Belsor police station of Nalbari district, Fr. Phillips, who is the Principal of the Nalbari St Mary's school was arrested as a cook of the school filed a FIR accusing him of making sexual abuse. The FIR said that the Principal sought to molest the women after school hours. But the friends of the Principal accused the women of colluding with some vested interest to harm the reputation of the school as well as environment. The police is investigating the matter as the Father remained in custody and he would be most likely be sent to judicial custody after producing before a local court.
