More than 20 NE militants killed in Myanmar

The Myanmar army launched a complete crackdown on insurgent groups from India, specially from NE region, operating from Myanmar soil and killed more than 20 militants of ULFA and National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB).

According to reports, Evangel Narjary alias Ne Esera, the foreign secretary of the anti-talk faction NDFB-S along with his bodyguard surrendered following the operation by the Myanmar army on Sunday evening.

The Myanmar army demolished the camps of NSCN (K), ULFA (I), NDFB (S), KLO and Manipuri insurgents in Sagaing region and seized arms and ammunition from their camps.
