Health and Family welfare Minister Pijush Hazarika had paid a sudden visit to the Swahid Kamala Miri Civil Hospital in Bokakhat this morning.

The hospital has 11 doctors but during the visit it has come to light that only three of the doctors were present at the hospital.

Actingon such insincerity on the part of the doctors, the MLA has transferred twodoctors and expelled one from job as punishments.

The doctors who have been transferred are Dr. Ajit Doloi, Dr. Nilima Phukon and dentist Dr. Pran Das has been expelled.

It maybe noted that the MLA has ordered the doctors to only prescribe medicines thatare present at the hospital
