A group of 12 Naga Militants has caused terror in the Seleng Tea Estate in Mariyani for the last few days.

As per reports, the NSCN cadres have tried to kidnap Mr. L.K. Subbey, the Asst.Manager of the Tea Estate, but fortunately, he had managed to escape from thescene.

It has been alleged that a few days ago the Naga militants demanded him forextortion, but as they didn't get the money, they had fired to him.

However, police have not reached the scene till now and it may be stated that, due to the continuous terror of the Naga Militants, the labors of the Tea Garden had left the garden immediately.
