Thereis a disturbing situation in Assam-Nagaland border at Merapani. It has beenalleged that some Naga miscreants have tried to encroach the land of Assamesepeople at Indrapur in Tarani.

People alleged that the Naga miscreants have tried to encroach the land at Merapani by showing Google map. The Naga miscreants' team of 30 members have cut down the trees in the area and also entered the forest area of one Bhuban Saikia and tried to encroach his land by giving fencing.

However,they have escaped after some media persons arrived in the area and tried tocapture the illegal activities of the miscreants.
