Nagaland’s COVID-19 Tally Reaches 179

The COVID-19 cases in the Northeast are rising at an alarming rate with the highest positive cases in Assam. The other NE states have also seen an increasing number of patients of COVID-19 and on Tuesday Nagaland again registered two new cases, taking the state's tally to 179.

Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet said, "2 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 316 samples tested. All cases are from Kohima QC."

With the new cases, the positive cases in the state stand at 179 while the active cases are 87 and 92 patients have recovered.

Meanwhile, Tripura recorded 2nd inthe COVID-19 tally in the Northeast with 1089 cases.
