A theft occurred in a Ganesh temple in Nalbari on Monday.

A silver crown atop the Ganesh idol was stolen as well as other gold-silver ornaments which were inside the temple.

40 silver snake figurines were also stolen from the Shiva's shrine including some cash from the donation box.

No arrests have been made so far in connection to the theft.
