Inyet another sensational incident, a DGM of National Buildings ConstructionCorporation (NBCC) has been arrested by the CBI in Guwahati on Wednesdayevening for taking bribe.

According to reports, the arrested DGM has been identified as Utpal Paul. A team of Anti-Corruption Branch of Guwahati CBI caught Paul red-handed, while he was taking a bribe of Rs. 2.50 lakh from a person at Hotel Rajdhani Regency in Last Gate area.

CBIofficials informed that Paul had demanded money from the person, who laterlodged a complaint with the police. Based on his complaint, the CBI teamexecuted the operation to arrest the DGM.

Meanwhile,the CBI is interrogating Paul at the Rajdhani Regency hotel.
