NDFB calls for Assam Bandh, Udalguri tense

The NDFB has called for an Assam Bandh against the court order sending their leaders to life imprisonment for the October 30 blast.

Meanwhile there is tension in the NDFB stronghold of Udalguri and shops and business establishment shut itself down sensing trouble

The NDFB is very unhappy and openly said that they were victimized by the Court as they were Bodo.

Ranjan Daimary's sister Anjali Daimary accused the judiciary of being partisan while pointing out to soft handling of similar terrorism related case of the ULFA.

The NDFB threatened to derail the peace process. The Assam police have taken position all over the Bodo dominated areas to prevent any untoward incident.
