NDFB-S opposes Citizenship Bill

The banned National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB-S) have showed stiff opposition against the passing of the Citizenship Amendment Bill proposed by the centre. NDFS-S chief B Saoraigwra said that that they will continue their protest against the bill and further appealed the youths from Bodoland to join the movement and unanimously oppose the bill.

He also said that that the bill once implemented would call trouble for the Bodo community.

The announcement was made while observing the Parade Training Day of the organisation made every year on November 14.

The banned  outfit also criticized the government for awarding punishment to four of its members.

The proscribed United Liberation Front of Asom, Independent, ULFA-I had come out against the Centre and opposed the  proposed Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.
