NE’s second tallest flag found ripped

The commutersat the Guwahati Railway Station have witnessed a view wherein they saw that theflag at the station had torn from the upper side. The second tallest flag inentire northeast was hoisted in the Guwahati Railway Station on January 16. Theflag has been ripped off due to heavy wind.

According to reports, the flag has not yet been replaced as the Guwahati Station authorities have not paid any attention to it. Surprisingly, the flag was hoisted as part of beautification process in the railway station. It was installed at a cost of Rs. 10 lakhs.

It should be noted that, the flag stands tall at a height of 100 feet. The incident has stirred a lot of questions within the Railway authorities.
