Netizens lavishe praise on ASP Panesar, Golaghat Police

After recovering the stolen Astadhatu idol of Goddess Ugratara, the netizens lavish praise on the Golaghat Police for their remarkable achievement.

The AP operation team was headed by Addl. Supdt. of Police. (H) Surjeet Singh Panesar, who is in the charge of investigating officer in Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) cash-for-job scam .

The Assam Police's Twitter handle praised the entire team as well. The theft of the main idol of Ugratara temple was languishing Assam Police in great dilemma. After months of failed search for the stolen one, Golaghat Police claimed to have recovered the centuries-old deity of Ugratara temple, this morning.

Four accused have been arrested from Nalbari in connection with the case, namely- Saan Hussain, Adil Ali, Rahul Ali and Mintu Roy.
