The North-East Frontier Railway has launched a new mobile application 'UTS' to book tickets online. The app has been launched for the convenience of the people and passengers won't have to pay extra for booking online tickets.

The online tickets can be booked through the app within a 5-km radius from the railway station. The service will be available for the short distance train in the first phase which will further introduce for the long-distance train.

Public Relations Officer of NF Railway, Nripen Bhattacharyya said that the regular passengers who travel by trains will be benefitted from the scheme as they will be able to book tickets in the monthly system.
