The North-East Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced special train services for the convenience of the passengers during the occasion of Chhath Puja.

It was informed that a total of nine new trains will run in and around Assam during the festival including Guwahati, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh etc.

However, no passenger trains have been decided to run locally by NF Railways.
