NH7 WEEKENDER Meghalaya lineup announced; Poets of the Fall and not Joe Satriani takes center stage

Bacardi NH7 WEEKENDER is back and its better and bigger than 2017. The happiest Music festival of India on Monday announced its much awaited lineup from this year's Meghalaya edition. Last week, the team announced the Pune line up which features legendary guitarist Joe Satriani as the main attraction.

People of Northeast were disappointed as rumors had it that Joe Satriani won't be taking the stage in Meghalaya this year. But the Rock Capital of India was in for a surprise too as the organizers made up for its decision to not feature Satriani by announcing Finnish Alternative rock band Poets of the Fall as the main attraction this year.

The lineup also includes Grammy Award winning alternative rock band Switchfoot, iconic guitarist Guthrie Govan and Tiny Fingers.

Also, Assam's heartthrob Zubeen Garg will be paying a tribute to the legendary Bhupen Hazarika with a special performance in the fourth edition of the festival in Meghalaya.

The most beloved and celebrated musical festival  also features some of the best artists from India including Shankar Mahadevan, Pentagram, Zero, TM Krishna, Dualist Inquiry, Scribe, Mohini Dey, Sandunes Live and LANDS.

Bacardi NH7 weekender has featured over 540 artists from India and around the world across a variety of genres.

The festival is headed to the hills of Meghalaya on November 2-3 before it heads to its home city Pune on 7-9 Dec.
