NIA Court Grants Bail to KMSS leader Dharjya Konwar

The NIA Court on Friday granted bail to Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) President Dharjya Konwar against a penalty of Rs. 30,000.

He was arrested on December last while participating in an anti-CAA protest.

The KMSS president who is infected with COVID-19 and is now under treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and will be released from jail soon after he recovered from the disease.

His swab sample has been tested again today and if the result would be negative, he will be released today itself.
