Nishanta Bordoloi gets Delhi Ranji team’s job again

Assam's Nishanta Bordoloi has been appointed as the strength and conditioning coach of the Delhi Ranji cricket team for the sixth consecutive year.

The Delhi Ranji team includes the probable of some of the finest players to play for India including skipper Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, Ishant Sharma and others to name a few.

In June this year, Bordoloi was also selected as a faculty member at the Board of Cricket For Control In India (BBCI)'s National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Nishanta Bordoloi is a well known name among cricketers and cricket boards/franchisees across the country. His recent assignment was that of the fielding coach for Kings XI Punjab team in this year's IPL.

Bordoloi is a qualified 'Strength – Conditioning and Fielding Coach' with over 30 Indian International Cricketers and over 100 first class cricketers in India emphasizing on fitness and fielding.

He is also an England & Wales cricket board qualified level -2 Cricket Coach while also specializing as a fielding Coach.

Nishanta Bordoloi is a former cricket player himself and represented Assam in the Ranji trophy. He has played 35 first-class matches and 29 List-A matches for Assam.
