No ferry services on Monday

A 24-hour walkout by Inland Water Transport workers' association, starting at 5 a.m on Monday (Jan 7) and continuing until 5 a.m. Thursday (Jan 8), will keep ferries moored in ports across the State.

The strike has been called by the All Assam Inland Water Transport Workers' Association in support of their long-term demands.

Through a notice to media, the workers' association clarified the issue.
