“No intention to join BCCI”: Saikia

Assam Cricket Association Secretary, DevajitSaikia has dismissed the speculation of him that he is likely to be thenext joint secretary of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

'Let me set the record clear….I have nointention to join BCCI now … will serve Assam cricket for some time to finishseveral uncompleted tasks in our State before expanding the horizon', Saikiatweeted.

Meetings and counter meetings ruled theroost as the affiliated units of the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI), along with the bigwigs of the board, met in Mumbai on Sunday.

At the end of the day, former India skipperSourav Ganguly is leading the race to be the next BCCI President.
