NRC exclusion! Nothing to worry: Shah

BJP national president Amit Shah on Sunday said that measureswill be taken to ensure that no illegal immigrant finds a place in the NationalRegister of Citizens (NRC).

Shah also assured that the BJP's commitment to not allow evenone illegal migrant in India remains unchanged. However, Shah made it clear that necessary protection will be given to all thosewho came to India prior to 1971.

BJP state unit presidentRanjit Dass told reporters that they had discussed "anomalies in thecontentious NRC" with the party national president. There was nothing to worry in this regard.
