NRC | Fake Objection exposed, Letter to DC

Pratidin Bureau

A large number of objections had been filed in cyclostyled/forged manner in total violation of law in the NRC updating process.

Dipul Saikia, a local resident of Dhing in Nagaon district has sent a letter to Nagaon DC claiming that he didn't submit any objection in NSK (NRC Seva kendra). He also urged administration to cancel all the objections which were filed using his name.

Meanwhile, the All Assam Minority Students' Union (AAMSU) has urged the authorities updating the National Register of Citizens in the State to reject dubious objections against people whose names appear in the complete draft of the citizen register published in June 2018.
