NSCN-IM Camp busted; Massive arsenal of weapons seized

The Myanmar Army launched an attack on an armoury of the banned militant outfit National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-IM) in Myanmar, sources said.

During the operation, the Myanmar Army which is the largest branch of the Armed Forces of Myanmar and has the primary responsibility of conducting land-based military operations had managed to seize a sum of 3 Cr. 45 lakh Indian currencies from their captivity.

Mortars, Rocket launcher, and various explosive elements were seized.

Even as an agreementbetween the Centre and the NSCN-IM is ready to be signed for the solution ofNaga political issue, security forces surprised everyone by busting the camp.
