In a road accident in Gouripur on NH-31, a youth identified as Kaamaal Shekh was killed on the spot.

Eye witnesses informed that Shekh was hit by an unidentified vehicle while he was collecting money for Eid celebrations along with some of his friends.

Even though an injured Shekh was immediately rushed to Dhubri Civil Hospital, he, however, was declared dead on arrival.
