Pema Khandu to swear-in as Arunachal CM today

Pema Khandu is all set to be sworn in as the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister and along with it in a first for the state, a BJP government with absolute majority will also take oath today .

The Assembly elections that was held simultaneously with Lok sabha Elections witnessed BJP winning 41 seats in the 60-seat in the state.

Notably, Khandu will take oath as the Chief Minister of Arunachal for the second term.

The swearing-in ceremony has been organized at the Dorjee Khandu state convention hall in Itanagar. The oath of office and secrecy will be administered by Governor Dr. BD Mishra.

CM Nagaland Neiphiu Rio, CM Meghalaya Conrad Sangma, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju among other renowned personalities will also be present at the event .
