A person reportedly has gone missing after jumping off a bridge in Nagaon today. He is believed to have taken the step due to discord in the family.

Identified as Rupjyoti Bora, the person jumped from the Borkhola bridge into the Hariya river.

Bora is a resident of Kampur Magariyati village.

The locals have started a rescue operation. A team of SDRF has also arrived at the spot.
