AssamMinister and senior AGP leader Phani Bhusan Choudhury was admitted to HealthCity Hospital in Khanapara, Guwahati on Tuesday evening following seriousillness.
The reason behind his illness is yet to be confirmed. "He is under observation," source in the hospital said.
Notably, Phani Bhusan Choudhury was present during the filing of nomination by Birendra Prasad Baishya for the Rajya Sabha elections.
