With one after the other instances of adultered fruits being sold in the markets of Assam, the Food Safety Department (FSD) had conducted raids in Guwahati on Tuesday.

MLA Pijush Hazarika led a team of officials for the raid.

The raids had been conducted in Bharalu and Hengrabari.

The team seized Banana ripened with the use of carbide.
