Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Assam today to campaign for BJP by addressing public rallies at Mangaldoi and Silchar.

Prime Minister Modi will attend a party rally at Kendukana in Mangaldoi at 2PM and then another at Ram Nagar in Silchar at 4:15 PM. Modi will campaign for the BJP's Mangaldoi candidate, Dilip Saikia, at Kendukana and for the party's Silchar nominee, Rajdeep Roy, at Ram Nagar.

Both Mangaldoi and Silchar constituencies are likely to witness a direct fight between the BJP and the Congress.
