PM Modi’s conversation with Assam tribal women villagers through video conferencing

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is currently on the conversation spree with people of villages across the country talked to a section of Bodo tribal women of a villages under Dhekiajuli development block in Sonitpur district through video conferencing on Thursday.

The Bodo tribal women villagers expressed happiness to the PM as electricity connection has been provided free of cost by concerned government agencies to every household in last three months in their villages.

PM Modi wanted to know from the women whether they watch TV or not? In reply the women told that they regularly watch TV programmes. Then the PM wanted know from  them whether they heard name of Hima Das , the sprint queen from Assam who had recently created history as she became the first Indian to win a Gold medal in a track event at the World Junior Athletics Championships.

The women replied that they know about Hima's achievement. The PM expressed his satisfaction over implementation of government schemes in villages.
