Powerful bomb blast rocks Guwahati

Ahead of the Durga Puja a  powerful bomb rocked Guwahati on Saturday.

The blast occurred at Panbazar near  Mahendra Mohan Choudhury (MMC) Hospital early on Saturday morning.

A bus was damaged in the blast shattering the glasses and injuring the passengers and the driver.

Four persons Kalpajyoti Talukdar, Sanku Das, Binita Das and Taifuddin Ahmed were injured in the blast but there are no reports of casualty in the blast so far.

The injured were admitted at MMCH.

Bomb squad have reached the spot .
