Pratidin Time Correspondent receives death threat

A Pratidin Time correspondent from Dergaon allegedly  received a death threat from three fake reporters on Tuesday. The fake reporters, Sakil Ahmed, Satyajit Hazarika and Dipak Hazarika threatened to kill Pratidin Time correspondent  Jagat Sonowal following which a complaint have been filed against the three at Dergaon Police Station.

Dipak Hazarika was also  allegedly involved at a robery in Dergaon.

Various organisations condemned the incident and demanded the arrest of the trio.

Threatening to stage a mass protest, the  Golaghat district All Assam Minorities Students Union (AAMSU) condemned the incident and demanded Dergaon police to arrest the trio as soon as possible.

Regional Students Union of Dergaon also condemned the incident and demanded probe of the issue.
