Prime Accused of Fakiragram Triple Murder Case Arrested

Police arrested one Sarbananda Barman, the prime accused in the triple-murder case of June 26 of Fakiragram in Kokrajhar district in Assam.

A resident of Kijurbari Jogdoi village under Fakiragram village, Barman confessed to his crime, whom the police identified as one jilted lover.

It may be mentioned here that on June 26 night, three members of a family were brutally hacked to death.

The deceased were identified as Tipul Rai (34), Marami Rai (25), and Anjumani Rai (3).

The fourth member of the family, Kabita Rai (6), miraculously escaped the attack.
