Recoveryof an ownerless Bajaj Scooter on a bridge over the Kapili River in Kampur hassparked sensation in the area.

Accordingto reports, the owner of the scooter has been identified as one JyotiprasadBorah. An alcohol bottle, a pair of sandals and a shirt has also been recoverednear the two-wheeler, which also had its key in it.

It hasbeen suspected that Borah has jumped into the river as a suicide note has alsobeen found near the scooter.

It may benoted that Borah is serving a life imprisonment on charges of murder and withpermission was out of jail.
